About Foxtail Lily

Based in Uttoxeter, Foxtail Lily is an independent boutique offering chic ladies clothing and accessories. 

They specialise in selling unique high-end French, Italian and German ladies clothing, alongside co-ordinating accessories including handbags, jewellery, purses, scarves, hats, gloves and belts.

The business was previously located at High Ash Farm but moved to Uttoxeter in May 2023 in order to increase stock in a larger premises and to be in a central town centre location. 

The owner, Vicky Taylor, employs four members of staff, with three of them having previously worked at the recently closed down M & Co. The other is Vicky’s Mum, who has a wealth of experience in fashion. 

In the run up to winter, their best selling product has been their faux-fur lined capes, beautiful soft jumpers and long gilets. 

They are also the local stockist of Wrendale Designs, a British based award winning publisher of greetings cards, stationery and giftware, featuring the characterful watercolour designs of artist Hannah Dale. 

The shop offers a personal, friendly service, tailored to the customers needs. The staff are knowledgeable about the products and are on hand to offer one-to-one advice. There is also a large changing room to try on your selection before purchasing. 

Vicky explained that: "We aim to offer unique styles to make every lady feel special at every occasion. Our stock changes with the season and we have new styles in store every week. We offer limited quantities of items to ensure outfits are unique and we celebrate individuality."

"We support and stock other local artisan businesses such as The Old Chapel Candles."

These candles are made in a converted chapel in Abbots Bromley, and use only the best natural waxes, which are free from paraffin, soy, palm, beeswax and synthetic additives. These make a great gift as they are paraben free and vegan friendly! 

Foxtail Lily also have pop-up shops at events, including one recently at Hoar Cross Hall, and they are currently planning a fashion show in 2024! 

There is also a new website currently under construction, where you will be able to view the stock and buy online.

To celebrate Small Business Saturday, customers are encouraged to pop in store to browse the selection of stock, and free mince pies will be available!
