Brewhouse Arts Centre announces packed Spring/Summer season of events

The Brewhouse in Burton upon Trent has announced an exciting Spring/Summer season of live theatre, music, comedy, exhibitions, workshops and much more!

There is a whole host of fantastic arts and entertainment on offer, from well-known comedians such as Angela Barnes, Rich Hall & Marcus Brigstocke; to a selection of brilliant theatre and music, with Martyn Joseph returning to The Brewhouse alongside Folk Duo Hannah Sanders & Ben Savage, plus amazing tribute bands ‘The Smiths Are Dead’ and ‘Into The Shadows’.

There are also plenty of family shows and activities to keep all ages entertained, from ‘The Snail and the Whale’ to ‘Pinocchio’ and ‘The King of Nothing’; an original re-telling of a firm family favourite The Emperors New Clothes! Plus, for children who enjoy getting crafty or creative there are a range of workshops, including Mini-Makers and a Saturday morning family craft session, perfect for those days when the weather isn’t so good.

The venue is also pleased to host BASE for their annual pantomime; this year it is ‘The Wizard of Oz’ as well as performances from Mellow Dramatics with ‘Priscilla Queen of the Desert’ and Little Theatre Company, Youth performance of the hilarious ‘Avenue Q’.
