Roundabout Theatre Returning to Burton upon Trent

I was really pleased the highly successful Roundabout Theatre will be returning to Burton again this year and even more pleased the theatre will be set up on the Washlands. The Washlands is hugely underutilised and this is just the kind of event the Town needs to boost the local economy. The Roundabout theatre is an award-winning, state of the art, portable pop-up venue from the acclaimed touring theatre company Paines Plough and will provide a wide range of activities for the community with an exciting programme of live theatre from the 8th - 11th of September.

I’m excited that families across our Borough and beyond will once again be able to experience The Roundabout. It will provide a unique space in the heart of the town for community events and performances, as well as workshops and opportunities for local schools. Bringing The Roundabout to Burton upon Trent continues to demonstrate the council’s commitment to supporting arts and culture.

Tickets are now on sale, priced at just £10 for adults and £5 for children via www.brewhouse.co.uk or by calling the Brewhouse Box Office on 01283 508100.
