Burton will play host to the annual Heart of England In Bloom awards in September, as East Staffordshire aims to make it 11 consecutive Gold medals with another gold in 2018.
The regional awards ceremony, will be hosted at the National Brewery Centre on Thursday 20th September 2018, with guests and dignitaries from In Bloom entries across the West Midlands.
East Staffordshire will be represented in a number of categories this year including: Burton, Small City; Uttoxeter, Town; Branston, Urban Community; and Winshill, Urban Community.
Councillor Colin Whittaker, Deputy Leader for Cultural Services, said: “It’s a great honour for Burton to be able to host the annual Heart of England In Bloom awards. I await the results from East Staffordshire’s entries with eager anticipation.”
Results from all East Staffordshire entries, will be available from Thursday 20th September by visit www.eaststaffsbc.gov.uk/parks-and-open-spaces/in-bloom.
