East Staffordshire Borough Council has announced that a Jobs Fair is to be held at Uttoxeter Town Hall on Wednesday 13 June between 9:30am -12:30am.
The Jobs Fair is to be delivered through a partnership between East Staffordshire Borough Council, Job Centre Plus, Burton and South Derbyshire College, Trent and Dove Housing, Support Staffordshire and Burton and District Chamber of Commerce.
The day is open to people across the borough and beyond looking for work or a change of career and promises to be a successful event with employers and jobseekers from across the area.
Over 20 employers have already signed up to attend, including Hoar Cross Hall who has hospitality positions, Guidant Group focusing on manufacturing jobs, CineBowl and DE Healthcare. As a job seeker, you don’t need to do anything today; simply drop in with some CVs and see if there is anything on offer for you.
The jobs fair is expected to be well attended by jobseekers and will provide plenty of opportunities for businesses to bypass the long process of advertising positions and sorting through CVs and meet potential candidates for their open positions. Stands are FREE for employers, presenting a great opportunity to make contact with job seekers in the area.
