East Staffordshire Borough Council is pleased to invite businesses looking to recruit high quality staff to attend the upcoming job opportunities fair on Wednesday 30th January 2019, being held at Burton Town Hall. The day is open to people across East Staffordshire and beyond looking for work or a change of career.
If you are looking for staff then this is a fantastic prospect. By having a FREE stand and spending just a couple of hours in the morning of Wednesday 30th January 2019, you can quickly make contact with a large number of job seekers.
The fair is being organised between East Staffordshire Borough Council, Job Centre Plus, Burton and South Derbyshire College, Trent and Dove Housing, Support Staffordshire and the Burton and District Chamber of Commerce. It is being held at Burton Town Hall, and will run between 9:30am and 12:30pm.
Cllr Mrs Julia Jessel, Deputy Leader for Regeneration said: “Once again East Staffordshire Borough Council is working hard with partners to host another jobs fair and the number of opportunities they provide for local people is excellent. The jobs fairs that have taken place in the past have always been well attended by Jobseekers which offers plenty of opportunities for businesses that are looking to fill vacancies. I would encourage anyone interested in finding a job or filling a vacancy to come along”.
Employers already booked in to attend the event include Short Term Group, Teleperformance and Uttoxeter Racecourse. Previous employers attending the events have said:
“We have attended three events and they are always really well organised”.
“Burton Town Hall lends itself well to presenters and visitors and there has always been a good range of organisations for networking opportunities”.
