The Old Trent Bridge is due to be closed for up to ten weeks from 18th June 2018. The East Staffordshire Borough Council Enforcement Team understand that taxi companies may need to increase their prices for some journeys, to take into account increased distances travelled and additional time taken.
If you wish to book a journey in the coming months that crosses the Bridge, please ensure to enquire with the taxi company about your journey price.
If using a taxi from a rank, prices can be agreed with the driver prior to the journey commencing, otherwise journeys will be priced according to the meter fares.
