Markets are an ideal platform to launch a lean business. 2019 is the year of the young market trader and Burton Market Hall is working with a wide range of operators across the UK to support and develop traders of the future as part of the National Market Trader Federation's, Young Trader programme.
In a collaborative approach to nurturing and supporting young traders aged 16-30, Burton Market Hall will host a dedicated Young Trader market on Wednesday 26th June 2019 in Burton Market Place.
This market will be part of a national competition, which will see successful Young Traders progress into the regional finals, to be held in Derby in August 2019 and if successful into the national finals, to be held in Stratford upon Avon in September 2019.
Young Traders interested in joining us for the East Staffordshire Young Trader Market can benefit from the following options:

Traders attending the Young Trader market on Wednesday 26thJune 2019 will be able to trade for free, and East Staffordshire Borough Council can provide necessary insurance cover for just £3 for the day.

The top 4 traders, as selected by the judges, will have the opportunity to trade at the regional event representing East Staffordshire.

The top 4 traders will also receive the opportunity to trade at Burton Market Hall for up to 4 weeks for free.
