Businesses across East Staffordshire urged to take advantage of the £23.5 million Grant scheme, the Business Growth Programme.

We are delighted to announce that the new £23.5 million Business Growth Programme 2 (BGP2) has launched and the first funding round is open for applications.

BGP2 offers grants of £2,500 - £1,000,000 and is designed to strengthen supply chains, stimulate innovation and help businesses grow.  The programme is available to:

Existing Small and Medium sized enterprises (SMEs) that operate on a business to business basis and SMEs moving into or located in The Greater Birmingham & Solihull and The Marches Local Enterprise Partnership areas (this includes East Staffordshire SMEs).

Part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund and managed by Birmingham City Council, BGP2 builds on the successful delivery of the £33m Business Growth Programme   which closed in December 2018.

The launch of BGP2 is an excellent opportunity for businesses across East Staffordshire and offers an exciting package of support and grants which can be used for a wide range of projects and can really help businesses to grow and get to the next level.

The Enterprise Team at East Staffordshire Borough Council are available to support businesses who think the scheme might work for them.  Funding is on a first come first served based so get in touch today to start the ball rolling”.
