Kevin Quantum - And For My Next Trick - Brewhouse Arts Centre Thursday 18th April 6.30pm

After sell-out runs at the Edinburgh Fringe every year since 2015, Adelaide Fringe 2017-18 and Perth Fringe 2018, critically acclaimed Scottish magician and comedian Kevin Quantum comes to the Brewhouse in Burton on Thursday 18th April, with his new family friendly show, And For My Next Trick.

In this fast-paced show Kevin Quantum fuses sketch comedy, magic and science - from laugh out loud moments to remarkable feats of mental ability alongside blow-your-brains illusions. As magic creatures go, Kevin fits somewhere between Gandalf and Brian Cox and is the closest thing to real magic a believer, or a cynic will ever find.

Kevin has appeared in BBC documentaries (‘Titanic’, ‘Dissection’), consulted for the National Theatre of Scotland, taught Eddie Izzard magic for a movie role and broken a Guinness World Record (The Largest Magic Lesson). He was the first magician to perform at the Globe Theatre in London and has produced some of the most inventive magic performance formats in recent years (‘The Secret Room’, ‘Tower of Illusion’, ‘Magic A La Carte’). Kevin has also enjoyed great success with magic-comedy-sketch group ‘The Colour Ham’ who were nominated for the Scottish Comedy Awards 2014 and 2015. He’s also one of the very few people that counts quantum physics as a hobby.
