February Half Term Activities in East Staffordshire

East Staffordshire Borough Council’s popular DASH holiday activity programme returns this February Holidays, with a host of workshops and shows for children and families. These include:

Saturday 15th & Saturday 22nd February - Printmaking 10.30am-12.30pm

£5.00 - The Brewhouse

In our Mini Makers workshops, families will have the opportunity to explore different art forms and themes, but most of all it's about getting creative, learning new skills and having fun! In these sessions we’ll be exploring printing, including printing space rockets using polystyrene plates and recyclable materials (Saturday 15th February) and making paper stencils of animals to print on fabric (Saturday 22nd February).

Make in the Market - Monday 17th & Wednesday 19th February

FREE - Burton Market Hall

Create your very own amazing creations, as the Market Hall hosts two make ‘n’ take sessions, perfect for creative little ones! In the first of these drop in sessions (Monday 17th), we’ll be having fun modelling with clay and in the second session (Wednesday 19th) we’ll be getting hands on; cutting, colouring, painting and sticking some cool crafts! All under the supervision of our experienced craft tutor.

MicroBeats - Tuesday 18th & Wednesday 19th February

FREE - The Brewhouse

Join us at the Brewhouse for two fun packed days at our new MicroBeats sessions. This is the perfect opportunity for young people to experience a wide range of musical activities: lyric writing and MCing, music production and singing. Professional artists from Baby People (a Derby based hip-hop school) will lead the sessions, thanks to funding from Youth Music.
