Brewhouse exhibition to celebrate Burton in Bloom success

The Brewhouse Arts Centre is encouraging local and regional artists to share their creative talents, as part of the venues annual open exhibition, which this year celebrates Burton upon Trent’s achievement in reaching the RHS Britain In Bloom finals.

The exhibition, which is open to all artists, producing all types of creative media and styles, aims to showcase work inspired by the great outdoors, local heritage, a sense of community or nature.

Burton upon Trent will contest the Britain in Bloom finals for the first time in over 20 years, following a streak of 13 consecutive gold medals in the regional Heart of England In Bloom competition.

Councillor Bev Ashcroft, Cabinet Member for Tourism and Cultural Development, said: “I can think of no better way to celebrate this great achievement than by showcasing all the amazing work produced by the many talented artists of East Staffordshire.”

The deadline for artists to upload and submit images of their work is Thursday 30th June 2022. The exhibition of all the work will then be available online, as well as selected artwork in an exhibition at The Brewhouse, both available from the 11th July until the 31st August 2022.
