Council Introduce Orange Protective Clothing to Ensure Employee Safety

East Staffordshire Borough Council has recently introduced brand new high-visibility protective clothing for waste collection and street cleaning employees, allowing for improved visibility of staff on the road.

The new orange uniform finds the perfect balance between comfort and practicality, making sure employees are able to get on with their work without discomfort.

Cllr Ray Faulkner, Cabinet Member for Environment and Climate Change, said: “The newly introduced protective uniform plays a vital role in the safety of Council employees, ensuring they are fully visible at all times. The use of orange safety wear across a number of Council services will also go a long way in building upon the Council’s corporate identity.”
