Easter Holiday Activities at Burton Market Hall & The Brewhouse

As the Easter School Holidays approach, The Brewhouse and Burton Market Hall are set to host a range of family friendly shows and activities including seven performances of the musical adaptation of the bestselling book The Smartest Giant in Town, by Julia Donaldson.

Councillor Bernard Peters, Deputy Leader for Community and Regulatory Services, said: “The Council is committed to supporting community events and I’m delighted the Brewhouse will be showcasing seven performances of the Smartest Giant in Town. This book is a firm favourite with families and I’m sure fans of the book will enjoy the musical adaptation just as much.”

Councillor Bev Ashcroft, Deputy Leader for Leisure, Amenities and Tourism, added: “There are host of family activities taking place at Burton Market Hall and The Brewhouse. It’s great to see such a variety on offer and I’m sure there is something on offer that all families can enjoy.”

  • Kids Rave On – Saturday 9th April – Brewhouse Arts Centre
  • Comedy Club 4 Kids – Sunday 10th April – Brewhouse Arts Centre
  • The Smartest Giant in Town – Monday 11th - Wednesday 13th April – Brewhouse Arts Centre
  • Easter Clay Modelling Session – Tuesday 12th and 19th April
