Brewhouse Summer Holiday Activities

The Brewhouse Arts Centre has announced plans to hit the road this summer holidays, taking live theatre, workshops and creative activities to parks and open spaces across East Staffordshire. 

These free sessions, perfect for families and young people of all ages, will be available for free at the following locations:

  • Saturday 29th July - Bramshall Road Park, Uttoxeter
  • Thursday 3rd August - The Washlands (by Burton Library), Burton upon Trent
  • Thursday 17th August - Bramshall Road Park, Uttoxeter
  • Saturday 2nd September - The Washlands (by Burton Library), Burton upon Trent

In addition to the on tour activities, The Brewhouse will also host a creative Summer School.

The summer school will allow young people a chance to hang out with friends, learn new skills and get creative making amazing things. Each workshop is themed around different topics, including: creating props, filming and thinking creatively to develop an end of summer premiere for family and friends.

Cllr Paul Walker, Cabinet Member for Tourism and Cultural Development, said: “The Brewhouse Arts Centre is offering a wide range of activities for children of all ages this summer holidays. Whether your child loves theatre or goes mad for arts and crafts, there’s bound to be something to keep them entertained this summer.”
