East Staffordshire Borough Council is excited to announce that a jobs fair, sponsored by Hilton Hotels, will be held at Burton Town Hall on Thursday 29th June 2023 from 9:30am – 12:30pm.
The fair has been organised in partnership with local public, private and community organisations, involving: the Department for Work & Pensions, East Staffordshire Borough Council, South Derbyshire District Council, Burton & South Derbyshire College and Burton Albion Community Trust.
If you are an employer looking for staff then this event offers a great opportunity to make contact with a number of local jobseekers. Several stands are still available to employers for free!
The event is free to all members of the public, giving people the chance to talk directly to major employers. If you are a jobseeker there is no need to book; simply come along on the day with some CVs and browse all of the exciting job opportunities on offer.
Cllr Rob Hawkins, Cabinet Member for Regeneration and Development, said: “This event looks to provide local jobseekers with the chance to discuss a number of exciting job opportunities with a wide range of reputable employers, all under one roof. I hope to see many local jobseekers there on the day taking full advantage of this free event!”
