Residents of East Staffordshire will soon receive a new, larger blue bag to recycle both paper and cardboard through the Council’s kerbside collection. 

As the Easter School Holidays approach, The Brewhouse and Burton Market Hall are set to host a range of family friendly shows and activities including seven performances of the musical adaptation of the bestselling book The Smartest Giant in Town, by Julia Donaldson.

Local Historians needed to help inform the development of new Burton Heritage Centre

The submission of four projects from the Burton Towns Fund programme was agreed this afternoon by the Burton Town Deal and summary documents for the projects have now been submitted to Government.

At a Full Council meeting on Monday 21st March, East Staffordshire Borough Council voted to approve four projects from the revised £23.8m Burton Towns Fund programme for submission to Government. 

East Staffordshire Borough Council has joined other local authorities across Staffordshire in declaring it’s ready to support and welcome those displaced by war in Europe.

At a meeting of Full Council on 21st March 2022, the Deputy Leader for Regeneration and Planning Policy will be announcing next steps for the regeneration of Uttoxeter, following the Uttoxeter Masterplan further consultation last year.

Main political groups on East Staffordshire Borough Council are reaching out to each other to revive the £23.8m Towns Fund Programme.
