East Staffordshire Borough Council is consulting on a new draft Housing Strategy and asking residents for their comments.  The deadline for receiving comments is Wednesday 28th October, 2020.

East Staffordshire Borough Council has announced a programme to improve the cleanliness of the southbound carriageway of A38 between Claymills and Branston.

The much-loved tradition of the Burton Statutes will continue this year, despite this popular event having been postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

From Saturday 3rd October, members of the public will be able to provide feedback and comments on the town’s proposals for projects to be funded by the Government’s Towns Fund programme.

Now in its 17th year, the annual Recycle Week campaign aims to raise awareness of the benefits of recycling across the UK.

In August 2020 a number of large, colourful swan creations started to appear on the streets of Burton upon Trent, causing quite a buzz around the town.

The current Masterplan for Uttoxeter is now over 17 years old. It has successfully helped to guide development and investment in and around the town centre throughout this period, but is now in need of renewal.
