Council to Suspend Waste Collection for the Funeral of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II

As a mark of respect for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, East Staffordshire Borough Council will suspend all waste and recycling collections on Monday 19th September 2022.

Plans to Expand Stapenhill Cemetery

Following a cabinet meeting on Tuesday 16th August 2022, a decision was made to proceed with expanding Stapenhill Cemetery onto Claverhouse allotments next to the cemetery. Whilst consideration of expansion at Stapenhill Cemetery has been underway for some time with the undertaking of the necessary ground investigations etc, this decision now means the work to progress the expansion will start straight away this year.
